Mary Pasternacki is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 12 years experience providing health and illness care to adults and children in Flagstaff. Mary specializes in well women and children’s health care. As a caregiver for her elderly parents, Mary has personal insight in elder care issues. She has recently been credentialed by the North American Menopause Society as a Menopause Practitioner and is able to address all of those menopausal related issues.
Mary graduated from Northern Arizona University with her Masters of Science in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner Certification in 1997. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1980 from West Texas State University and worked 17 years as an RN in pediatrics, emergency, air transport and home health care. For four years she was a member of a health team that provided on-site well woman care, health education and pediatric health screenings to members of the Havasupai Tribe.
On the weekends, you are likely to find Mary and her husband Stu at dog shows around the Southwest or hiking on the local trails. They have two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Ketzel and Sky, that they train and compete with in agility, obedience, drafting, tracking, and herding events. |
